OH WONDER are Josephine Vander Gucht and Anthony West – they’re a musical duo from the UK, and in the last couple of years they’ve ticked a number of boxes that any budding music act:

Not bad really, imagine what they will achieve in the next couple of years! Vander Gucht was a classically-”trained solo performer and West a singer-”turned-” producer – they met various times over the years but only collaborated together in recent years. Josephine, one half of the duo says: “I used to have lots of jobs. I worked in Waterstones, and waiting tables, and Ant was the person who told me to give them up. He told me to call up my boss and say ‘Sorry I can’t work at Waterstones anymore, I’m being a musician.’ He said we’re going to do this.” They play Whelan’s in Dublin on 13th March next year – this is Oh Wonder with “Without You” and it’s Wednesday’s Daily Download.
