Walk the Moon are from Ohio in the States and the name is derived from the song "Walking on the Moon" by The Police. This track ‘Shut Up and Dance’ was inspired by frontman Nicholas Petricca’s experience in an LA club when he was waiting at the bar to get a drink and was getting frustrated it was taking so long because he wanted to get on the dance floor and shake his ass! It’s currently in the Top 10 in the charts.
