Today’s Daily Download is from a 23 year old Australian singer songwriter called Matt Corby. He’s already had major success in Oz, in 2007 aged just 16, he came second in Australian Idol. Since then he’s been releasing music, this song was released last year and it won him an ARIA music Award for Song of the Year. He’s been compared to Nick Drake and Jeff Buckley - but he said one of his favourite songs of all time is Tina Arena’s “Chains”. I don’t know how I feel about that! This song is definitely a cracker though - it’s called “Resolution” and it’s Thursday’s Daily Download.
