Today’s Daily Download comes from Pharrell Williams and it’s called “Freedom”. Pharrell has been performing this song as part of his live set in the run up to its release. He launched the single as part of the recent Apple Music launch. The song has been described as the negative image of “Happy”, touching on more political themes. The song was the soundtrack in the ad running for Apple Music. Pharrell has been in the news recently, suggesting that he has worked with UK singer Adele. Describing her busy schedule, he said "She gives it to you and closes it up and disappears, and she’s off with her beautiful boy – and that’s what it’s all about." Pharrell performed at Glastonbury last weekend, and also supported the Script recently at their Croke Park date. See what you think of this, it’s Pharrell Williams with “Freedom” and it’s Thursday’s Daily Download.
