Today’s Daily Download is another banger from Major Lazer – it’s the second release from the album “Peace is the Mission”. This is the third album from the musical collective, with members including record producer Diplo, along with DJ Jillionaire and Walshy Fire. Everybody knows “Lean On” well at this stage, which features DJ Snake and MØ, and this is the new song. It’s called “Powerful” and features Ellie Goulding and Tarrus Riley – Major Lazer is embarking on a world tour at the moment - not only are they conquering the music world, they’re taking over the animation world as well - a new Major Lazer cartoon is being launched on TV channel FXX. Other collaborators on the new album include Pusha T, 2 Chainz, Ariana Grande, and many others. The music collective has been called “one of the most exhilarating live acts in years”. This is Major Lazer featuring Ellie Goulding and Tarrus Riley, with “Powerful” and it’s Tuesday’s Daily Download.
