This song is taken from Jape’s upcoming album The Chemical Sea. Richie Egan, the driving force behind Jape moved to Sweden in 2012 and wrote all the new material for the album there so I’m looking forward to hearing it. Would you believe Jape has been releasing music since 2003 - I’m starting to feel old. Jape are the only band to have won TWO Choice Music Prize awards - the first for the album Ritual in 2008 and the second for Ocean of Frequency in 2011. This song is called “The Heart’s Desire” and it’s Wednesday’s Daily Download.
