Since 2008, Dublin-based collective Young Hearts Run Free have been putting on music and literary events in spaces which are usually off the beaten track, with all proceeds raised on the door going to benefit the Simon Community.
No Idle Day is their three day festival which runs across the city in venues like the National Concert Hall, Marsh’s Library, Molloy & Dowling Opticians, City Assembly House, Bello Bar, Anseo and some secret locations from October 10 to 12.
Today FM’s own ED Smith is among the artists involved in this year’s festival. The line up also includes film-maker Pat Collins, DJ Donal Dineen and musicians Adrian Crowley, The Spook of the Thirteenth Lock and Katie Kim.
