Ennio Morricone opened his biggest ever-global tour yesterday, MY LIFE IN MUSIC 2015, performing at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam to a sold-out house of 12,500 people. 

The Amsterdam concert marked the beginning of the Maestro’s rescheduled tour, which follows nearly a year of recovery from a spinal injury, and will stop in 20 major European cities including Dublin at 3Arena this Saturday 07 February.

The most prolific composer in the history of film music, Morricone’s career spans more than 50 years. He has composed over 500 scores for cinema and television and is the only film-composer ever in history to have received the honorary Academy Award for his lifetime achievement.

Well known highlights include his scores for Once Upon a Time in the West, One Upon a time in America, The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, A Fistful of Dollars, The Untouchables, The Mission, Cinema Paradiso, The Best Offer, etc.

Tickets are still available for thie Saturday’s performance at 3Arena, Dublin.
