We spoke about Frances Bean Cobain today on the show, she is an executive producer on the new Kurt Cobain documentary Kurt Cobain: Montage of Heck. She's gone from working as an intern in Rolling Stone to appearing on the latest cover of the magazine. She's now 22 and she's got a very level head on her shoulders.
It is the first time she has spoken publicly about her father, and her complicated relationship with her mother Courtney Love. Speaking in her Rolling Stone interview, Frances Bean said "Kurt got to the point where he eventually had to sacrifice every bit of who he was to his art, because the world demanded it of him, I think that was one of the main triggers as to why he felt he didn't want to be here and everyone would be happier without him. But in reality, if he had lived, I would have had a dad. And that would have been an incredible experience."
