Fontaines DC - Roy's Tune
Fontaines DC have been gigging in Texas at SXSW the annual music showcase. Over the course of 2 weeks the lads have turned every critic and every music lovers heads. With top mark reviews, queues out the door to see them and to top it all their forthcoming album 'Dogrel' was given 4 stars in Q magazine.
Our evening music brother Paul McLoone will have the lads in on his show in April.
David Fricke in Rolling Stone magazine had this to say "I’m not looking forward to the day I have to share this band in bigger rooms. But it is coming soon, and they’re earning it. See Fontaines D.C. in this kind of squeeze and mayhem while you can."
1000 Beasts - Want
'Want' is the latest offering from Cork based producer Cian Sweeney, feat the powerful vocals of Waterford native Carrie. The track was co-written by Ryan O' Shaughnessy and Laoise at an IMRO sponsored writing camp last summer. It is a strong electronic track with a summer hit Scandi-pop feel, akin to Sigrid and MØ.
Dermot Kennedy is appearing on The Ellen Show this Thursday. The 'Power Over Me' Dubliner has been a solid bet over the past few years for huge success and we have been with him every step of the way on Lost in Music.
