Last year saw Johnny Marr release his critically acclaimed Top 10 solo album The Messenger as well as be named NME’s Godlike Genius.

This October sees the release of his second solo album Playland.  The album finds Marr working once again with The Messenger collaborator and co-producer Doviak, as well as the other musicians who performed on the album and accompanying tour.

Playland is written around a common theme of ‘songs that move at the speed of life’. It will be released on CD, vinyl and digital formats.
