The shortlist for this year's Meteor Choice Music Prize Irish Album Of The Year 2014, in association with IMRO & IRMA, will be announced on Wednesday 7th January, 2015.

The winning album will be announced at the Meteor Choice Music Prize live event, held in Vicar Street, Dublin on Thursday 5th March, 2015. The event will be broadcast live on Today FM in a special four-hour extended programme during the Paul McLoone show. 

To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the Prize, there will be a series of special events: an event at Cyprus Avenue, Cork on Sunday 23rd November and at the Roisin Dubh, Galway on Monday 24th November.

The events will feature three Meteor Choice Music Prize winning acts sharing a stage for the first time (Villages, Jape plus a third Music Prize winner soon to be revealed).
 
Details of a special 10th anniversary event in Dublin in spring 2015 will be announced soon.
