The Scream are back on tour with their tenth album "More Light" - Bobby Gillespie will bring the Primals to the Olympia, Dublin on Sunday the 17th October.
It's been a while since the Primals really delivered on their ambition - a long time since the hard hitting techno machinations of XTRMNTR and even longer since the deep acid-house dub psych of 1991's opus "Screamadelica".
"More Light" sees fat grooves and hedonistic psychedelia smashed together with hard rock 'n' roll beats and the free-jazz ramblings of Gillespie's stream of political unconsciousness to fight it out in a glorious struggle for noisy reinvention.
"More Light" was produced by David Holmes and features guest appearances by Robert Plant, My Bloody Valentine's Kevin Shields, and Mark Stewart.
