What a weekend!

Glastonbury - nice work if you can get it. The Stones have waited 43 years. It's hard to believe that the Stones would be headlining Glastonbury in 2013. It would have been hard to imagine them headlining Glastonbury back in 1980.

In the meantime Brian May, Squeeze, The National and Rod Stewart were here rocking it up!

Were you at any of these gigs? Let us know in the comments below.

If not, there's plenty more good stuff in the pipeline.

Coming up - Dublin

Jazz fans will be treated to Branford Marsalis Wednesday and Giselle, The Original Rudeboys, & Tandem Felix on Thursday. The Fureys, Kenny Rogers, the Doors Tribute Band and Tristan Carroll Friday while for the forthcoming weekend Sinead O'Connor, Ben Klock, and the Shaolin Warriors kung fu stageshow fill the bill.

The weekend's Groove Festival features none other than the huge vocal talents of James Morrison, and Ali Campbell from UB40 - let's hope he plays some of the UB40 back catalogue. Groove Festival also features O Emperor, Little Bear and Cry Monster Cry.

Little Bear - The Few and Far Between (Live @ Whelans, Dublin)

Sunday brings The New Medicants & Bizarre Ride II Live from 1990's hip-hop scions Pharcyde as well as Sliotar & Heath. Look forward to Wednesday because Justin Timberlake and Jessie J are coming to Phoenix Park.

Coming up - Cork

The start of the week sees both Ke$ha and Sting at the Marquee, Dublin's own Bell X1 Thursday, The Boomtown Rats on Friday followed by Christy Moore and Jessie J at the weekend and the fabulous queen of rockabilly Imelda May Tuesday.

Imelda May - Mayhem [Official]
