The Coachella Festival kicks off this weekend
The Two weekend festival in Indio, California will see the likes of Arcade Fire, Outkast, Queens of The Stone Age, Lorde, Foster the People , Pharrell Williams, Beck, Calvin Harris, and also... two little lads called Guy and Howard Lawrence from Surrey in England who have gone from twiddling knobs in their bedroom to headlining Coachella...and having a meteoric rise since they released their album Settle last year...

FOALS
Foals have revealed that they are currently locked in the studio recording material for the follow up to 2013's Holy Fire.
Frontman Yannis Philippakis told NME that they are indeed in the studio they lovingly refer to as "the stinkbox."
"I wanted to go back to the studio in Oxford because I wanted to go back to somewhere that felt safe. Also it kind of sounds awful in there, so if something can sound good in there then you'll know it'll sound good anywhere."
Talking about their current approach in the studio he said: " We actually kind of stopped soundchecking a lot because it just got boring, I like the unpredictability of going on stage with bad sound."

*The band have also been known to fill the studio up with plants while recording!
The Offspring
This week marks the 20th anniversary of SMASH - the album that was a big deal for The Offspring. It featured "Come Out and Play (Keep 'Em Separated)," "Self Esteem" and "Gotta Get Away," - it's the biggest selling indie release of all time. Pretty fly for a white band.
