Paul Weller's musical experimenting has served him well over the past 40 years, from his early days in The Jam, through The Style Council and onto what is now his 12th solo album and 23rd in total, “Saturns Pattern” (Mr Weller hates apostrophes it seems)
The album, produced by Jan Kybert who has also worked with New Order, the Prodigy, UNKLE, and most recently Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds perfectly showcases Weller’s ability to evolve and try new musical avenues . Across 9 compact tracks he flexes his considerable range from the thoughtful ‘I’m Where I Should be’ to the roar ripping riffs on ‘Long Time’ featuring the jaw dropping guitar bashing of Josh McClorey from The Strypes.
The Modfather plays in Dublin's Olympia Theatre on Tuesday November 17th and a newly added date, Wednesday November 18th
“Saturns Pattern” is in shops and online for your perusal and purchase right now!
Here he is being cool as feck with our own Josh more than holding his own guitar!
