In the words of Ray Charles... hit the road Jack and don’t you come back, no more, no more.... (WAIT. Don’t leave us and please do come back, don’t listen to Ray or Jack for that matter)

If you haven’t already seen the incredible road trip two Irish lads by the names of Marcus and Max took recently, where they drove the entire length and breadth of the country in just 7 days, well, haven’t you missed out!
They took to the road in style, behind the wheel of the all-new Toyota C-HR and captured their entire journey

Here they speak about some of their favourite features of the car:
No doubt the car has some great features and as the excited Marcus O’Laoire says, “…it’s so cool to just have all of your music at the press of a button straight from your phone.”
We would be excited too, Marcus. Every great car needs easy access to music, and every great drive needs tunes! So, since we’re on the topic of songs and hitting roads and (car) jacks, we’ve decided to compile the ultimate driving playlist, but to do that, we need to ask the experts... YOU.
To get the engines revving, we asked some of your favourite Today FM presenters and team to put forward a track that turns the road rage into road rave.
Here’s what we came up with so far:
“There’s NOTHING guilty about this!” – Ed Smith, Ed’s Songs of Praise (Sundays 7pm-9pm)
“Because they make my angry undulating lower lip like a Saab, retract, when I'm stuck in Dublin trying to drive back to Galway for rehearsals.” – Fergal D’Arcy, Off The Charts (weekdays, 2.30pm)
“If you listen to this while driving you have to put your head out the window like a dog and scream!” – Dermot Whelan, Dermot & Dave (weekdays 9am-12pm)
“Why? Because it was mother's milk to me.” – Conall O’Morain, Sunday Business Show (Sundays 10am-11am)
So, go on, put this lot to shame and put forward your ultimate driving *tune and feel free to tell us why!
*guilty pleasures will remain confidential.
