One person has died and over 35 others have been injured after a car ploughed into a crowd near to where the Miss Universe beauty pageant was being held in Las Vegas.

Seven people are described as being 'critical' after the accident outside Planet Hollywood.

A woman is now being tested for drink driving.

But Peter Boffelli from the Las Vegas police says officers are keeping an open mind.
