One third of the Irish population has done the ice-bucket challenge - according to figures from a polling company.
Ipsos/MRPI says half of all 15 to 34 year olds, and one third of 35 to 54 year olds undertook the challenge.
Women were more likely than men to take the challenge, and Dubliners were the least likely to take part.
Residents in other parts of Leinster were most likely to douse themselves in ice-water.
