2 out of 3 Irish teenagers have never had sex, while 17 percent said they've felt under pressure to do so.

The figures from the ESRI are part of a Growing Up in Ireland Study which has been following 6000 Irish young people since 2007.

56 percent of sexually active teens always use a condom, while 11 percent have never used protection.

Out of the 6000 respondents 17 percent said that, sexually active or not, they felt under pressure to have sex.
