A Wicklow company is creating 100 new jobs in Ireland and the UK

Smart Storage will create 60 positions at its base in Newtownmountkenney over the next 18 months in sales, marketing, logistics, operations and manufacturing.

A further 40 staff will be hired in the UK.

The firm won investment on Dragons Den in 2012.

Managing Director Paul Jacob explains how he came up with the idea for under-stairs storage at his own home:
