There have been more than 400 drug seizures inside Irish prisons already this year, on top of nearly 1 thousand in 2014.

Overall, the most common drugs being found are tablets and prescribed medication - like valium - in a shift away from injected drugs, like heroin.
A new confidential phone line has been set up to try to crack down on illegal trafficking.
