A major report has been prepared for the government, showing how 10 thousand new jobs could be created at the IFSC.

According to the Irish Times, boosting employment in financial technology companies is a central feature of the plan.

A group chaired by the Departments of the Taoiseach and Finance held consultations with industry and public sector bodies before drawing up 22 proposals.

The plan is due to go to cabinet later this month.

The Irish Financial Services Centre employed 35 thousand people at the end of last year.
