More than 100,000 people have taken part in events around the world this morning, to raise funds for Irish charity Pieta House.

In Ireland, Darkness into Light events took place at 80 locations at dawn.

The 5K walk is the main fundraising event organised by the charity that helps fight suicide and self-harm.
