Twelve people were hospitalised in Dublin last night after a car collided with a Luas tram on the Red Line at Drimnagh.
Gardaí say noone was seriously injured in the crash, which took place at 10:20pm at the junction of Suir Road and Davitt Road.
Ten men and two women, aged from their late teens to their mid thirties, required medical assistance.
At least 11 ambulances and two units of Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene and ferried the injured to St James', Tallaght and Blanchardstown Hospitals.
The road was closed but reopened a short time later.
Gardaí have asked for anyone who witnessed the collision to contact them.
