Services will be held today to remember the 12-hundred and one lives lost when the RMS Lusitania sank off the south coast 100 years ago.
The liner was torpeoed by a German u-boat en route from New York to Liverpool.
The centenary will be marked by a white rose, plaque and the names of those who died, being placed on the wreck.
