132 children killed in Pakistan attack

The Pakistani military has confirmed that 132 children were killed in today's Taliban attack on a school in the northern Pakistan.

7 men stormed the army-run school in Peshawar, in northern Pakistan while around 500 students and teachers were believed to be inside, with many taking exams at the time.

The army says all 7 militants are now dead.

President Barack Obama is among those who have condemned the attack. Pakistani teenager Malala Yousafzai, joint winner of this year's Nobel peace prize for her education campaign work, said she was heartbroken by the Taliban attack in Peshawar.

US Secretary of State John Kerry says a house of learning turned into a house of horror.
