14 weather stations broke September temperature records during last week's hot spell.

Met Eireann says there were heatwave conditions between last Monday and Friday at four stations in Roscommon, Carlow, Tipperary and Clare.
While 24 Met Eireann weather stations had the highest temperature of the year last week.
A number of weather stations also broke September records for minimum temperatures - which is usually the night time lows.
One of those records at Valentia Observatory had stood for almost 150 years.
