A 50 year old man has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for the attempted murder of his ex-partner in Dublin.
51 year old Rose Kenny was stabbed multiple times at the School Street Flats in the Liberties in September 2014.
Denis Leahy of Queen Street in Dublin pleaded guilty to the attack which the judge described as ‘extraordinarily violent’.
His victim said the stabbing changed her completely and she doesn’t trust the world the way she used to.
