At least 15 people suffering from dehydration have been found on a lorry at a service station in Britain this afternoon.
Avon and Somerset Police are working with immigration authorities to find out how they came to be there.
Police believe they boarded the lorry on mainland Europe - and are trafficking victims.
Most of them are young men - although three young women were also in the container.
Police say they are originally from Eritrea and Kashmir.
A German national who was driving the lorry has been arrested.
Police Superintendent Geoff Wessell says the people found in the container were in a reasonable condition.
