It's been a day of mixed news on the jobs front.
150 new jobs have been announced for Waterford.
While up to 70 positions are going in Galway.

West Pharmaceutical will employ 150 people to make packaging components for the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors at its custom build plant in Waterford.
100 jobs will also be created during the construction phase at the new premises on the Old Kilmeaden Road in the city.
American firm Beckman Coulter is closing its facility in Galway, with the loss of up to 70 jobs.
140 staff are currently employed at the plant, between 70 and 80 will be transferred to the company's operation in Co Clare.
Meanwhile, Brown Thomas is hiring 200 seasonal staff for Christmas, for its stores in Dublin, Cork, Galway and Limerick.
