15 kilos of herbal cannabis has been seized at one of the country's largest mail centres.

The drug, worth an estimated 300 thousand euro, was found as a result of routine profiling at Portlaoise Mail Centre.

Revenue sniffer dog Stella reacted to a parcel, described on the manifest as "food and spices" which was sent from west Africa to an address in north Dublin.
