A teenage boy has been rushed to hospital after been shot in Limerick City.
The 17-year old was shot in the thigh outside a warehouse on Upper Carey's Road at around 10am.
It's understood he managed to make his way to a nearby green area where he collapsed and was discovered by paramedics who treated him at the scene.
The boy was transferred by ambulance to University Hospital Limerick where his condition is believed to be stable.
Gardai at Roxboro Road are investigating.
