It seems we're a nation of chocoholics with a quarter of us planning to buy 8 eggs or more this Easter.
Last year we chomped our way through almost 18 million eggs - that figure is expected to rise this year.
3 in 4 of us will spend up to €40 on eggs.

A survey by Repak has revealed we'll generate over 20 thousand tonnes of packaging waste but over half of us say we will recycle.
Repak has some top tips for Irish households on how to be a good egg this Easter;
-
Only put recyclable items in the recycling bin.
-
Compress or fold cardboard boxes flat before putting them into the recycling bin.
-
Fold the aluminium foil from Easter eggs.
-
Ensure all plastic food containers, milk cartons and drinks containers are clean before putting them in the recycling bin.
-
Contamination is a big problem in recycling bins so please ensure that clean items only are put into the recycling bin.
