A teenager's in a serious condition in hospital following a crash in Mayo.
The 18 year old girl was walking on the Castlebar to Claremorris Road -the N60 - at about 5 o'clock last evening when she was struck by a car.
The 83 year old driver and a young male passenger were taken to hospital as a precaution, but no injuries were reported.
The teenager is being treated at Mayo General Hospital and Gardai are appealing for any witnesses to contact them in Castlebar.
