Gardai have seized 180 thousand euro worth of cannabis in Ballyfermot in Dublin.

Customs officers and the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau intercepted a consignment containing 9 kilogrammes of cannabis which arrived into Ireland today.

A man in his 40s was arrested and is being held in Ballyfermot Garda station.
