At least 19 people have been injured, four critically, in a blaze and partial building collapse in New York City.
The fire - in a five-storey apartment block - broke out in Manhattan's East Village and appears to be a gas-related explosion.
Flames spread to nearby buildings - and smoke could be seen and smelled for miles.
