There are calls for a dedicated task force to clampdown on gangland violence in Dublin.
It follows the latest shooting incident in the capital which saw two people injured in Ballyfermot this morning.
A man and woman both in their 30's were taken to St James' Hospital - but it's understood they've since been discharged.
