Just before 8 o'clock last night, a 17-year-old boy was killed when his motorbike collided with a bus at St Margaret's in Finglas.

The 50-year-old bus driver was treated for shock at the scene but was uninjured.

In Galway, a 26-year-old woman was killed and two other people were injured when their car left the road and hit a concrete post.

It happened at a quarter to seven yesterday evening on the Headford to Tuam Road
