A man in his 20s is in a serious condition following an alleged assault at a house in Tralee, Co Kerry last night.
Gardaí were called to the scene at Kileen Woods at around half past ten - they found the man unconscious in the front garden.
He was rushed to Kerry General Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
Two men in their late 20s and early 30s were arrested near the scene. They're being held at Tralee Garda Station.
A forensic and technical examination of the scene is underway and Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
