Two teenage boys have been arrested after a break in at a house in Lucan in Co Dublin.

Gardai were alerted to a burglary at the Weston housing estate at around 4 am.

Two cars which left the scene crashed into the River Liffey at Celbridge Bridge.

3 ambulances attended the scene from Naas, Tallaght and Dunshaughlin.  No one was was injured in the incident.

The two juveniles are being detained at Lucan Garda Station.
