Ninety percent of those eligible to pay property tax have now done so.

Two hundred million euro had been collected by the end of September, according to the latest figures from Revenue.

At the end of September 2013, the county with the highest property tax compliance rate was Dun Laoghaire Rathdown, at ninety two percent, with 21 million euro paid.

The Dublin City Council area has paid 32.4 million, with a compliance rate of 87 percent.

Fingal in north Dublin, Kilkenny, North Tipperary, South Tipperary and Wicklow have a compliance rate of 91 percent.

The lowest compliance rates at the end of September were in Donegal and Louth, at 84 percent.
