€25 million is to be spent on addressing the homeless crisis in Dublin.
260 additional emergency beds will be provided for people sleeping rough, as part of a 20-point Action Plan announced by the Government today.
A night cafe will be opened as a contact point for homeless people who don't want to stay in the emergency accommodation being provided.

The plan includes the purchase of a NAMA controlled hotel to provide accommodation and the opening of an assessment centre for homeless families.
Organisations working with homeless people are welcoming the plan, but they say an increase in rent supplement is needed to stem the crisis.
