23 people are being treated in hospital this morning after a bus crashed, killing 14 people, in southern Spain on Saturday night.

The bus was carrying a group returning from a religious excursion in Madrid when it tumbled down an embankment near the town of Cieza.

The regional government says police are investigating what caused the bus to fall down the 50-foot embankment.

Among those dead is local priest, Miguel Conesa Andúgar.
