Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a 24-year-old man was shot dead in north Dublin.
It happened at around 2.20am on Saturday morning at Moatview Avenue in Coolock.
Gardaí say a black Audi A3, Registration No. 00-OY-5067 found partially burnt out in nearby Finglas - was connected with the incident.
The man's body has been removed from the scene and a post mortem is taking place this afternoon.
Superintendent Gerard Donnelly is making an appeal on several fronts:
Gardai say they're aware that several other people were with the victim at the time of the attack.
They're are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them at Coolock or on the Garda Confidential Line.
