24 hours on from the Paris attacks and three teams of terrorists have been blamed for the atrocities.
The French Prosecutor says seven of the assailants are among the dead.
A total of 129 people died in coordinated attacks at the Bataclan concert hall, a restaurant district and football stadium, the Stade de France.
350 people have also been injured - including one Irish person.
Tonight the Irish embassy in Paris confirmed that an Irishman had undergone surgery after receiving gunshot wounds at the Bataclan concert venue.
The man, who was visiting Paris for the weekend, is described as being in a serious but stable condition in hospital.
Earlier today 6,000 people marched through Dublin in solidarity with France, while hundreds marched through Galway City.
Many of those marching were draped in the French tricolour flag.
Tonight the 'Peace for Paris' symbol has gone viral and in Paris floral tributes lie at the sights of the attacks while candle lit vigils are taking place around the city.
Irish flags will fly at half mast tomorrow as an act of condolence.
