More than a quarter of cyclists have had their bikes stolen in the past two years.
Research, by insurer Protect Your Bubble, shows each one was worth on average 377-pounds and was most likely taken from a back garden.
The poll also discovered almost two thirds of bicycles were locked up at the time.
