Gardai are appealing for witnesses after a 27 year old motorcyclist was killed in a road crash in Co Carlow yesterday.
The accident happened on the R724 at Ballymoon near Muine Bheag when his motorbike crashed into a construction vehicle.
He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body has been removed to Waterford regional Hospital where a postmortem will be carried out.
The road remains closed and diversions are in place.
Garda forensic collision investigators will carry out a technical examination at the scene this morning.
