A 28 year old man has died after a hit and run in Dublin on Wednesday night.

Karl Robertson was out jogging when he was knocked down at Hazelwood Drive in Artane not far from his home at 9.45pm.

The car failed to stop at the scene and Gardai later discovered a burnt out white Renault Megane van at Beechlawn Grove.

Reporter with the Irish Independent Conor Feehan says a man has since presented himself to Gardai.
