A 29-year old man has appeared in court in Limerick charged with the sexual exploitation of a 14 year old boy.
The court heard the accused was intercepted by Gardaí while allegedly on his way to a hotel to have sex with a boy last Monday.
He gave an undertaking in court to abide by a number of strict bail conditions, including that he notify Gardai of a change of address, or any travel plans within the State.
He also gave an undertaking to surrender all telecommunications equipment, including mobile phones that have access to the Internet.
The accused, who broke down a number of times in court, was remanded to appear in court again on May 17th.
